VII Encuentro Internacional sobre el Método Madre Canguro- Uppsala, Suecia 2008
El VII Encuentro Internacional sobre el Método Madre Canguro tuvo lugar en octubre de 2008 en Uppsala, Suecia. Participaron expertos en el Método Madre Canguro de 37 países, así como representantes de la Organización Mundial de la Salud, Save the Children, SNL, entre otros. Este Encuentro Internacional fue precedido por la Primera Conferencia Europea sobre KMC, en la que participaron más de 30 miembros de Unidades Neonatales de 15 países europeos.

I Encuentro Internacional sobre el MMC – Trieste, Italia 1996
Se celebró la primera Reunión Internacional sobre el Método Madre Canguro (MMC) para proporcionar cuidados a los recién nacidos prematuros y de bajo peso para la edad gestacional. Esta reunión se celebró en Trieste, Italia, del 24 al 26 de octubre de 1996. Asistieron 36 participantes de 15 países de África, Asia, Europa, Norteamérica y Sudamérica.

The focus of this International Meeting was “Developmental problems in prematurity and the effects of KMC”.
VII International Meeting on the MMC – Uppsala, Sweden 2008
The VII International Meeting on the Kangaroo Mother Care Method took place in October 2008 year in Uppsala, Sweden. “Kangurologists” from 37 countries participated, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization, Save the Children, SNL, among others. This International Meeting was preceded by the First European Conference on KMC, where more than 30 members of Neonatal Units from 15 European countries participated.

I International Meeting on the MMC – Trieste, Italy 1996
The first International Meeting on the Kangaroo Mother Care Method (KMC) was held to provide care for premature and low birth weight infants for gestational age. This meeting was held in Trieste, Italy, from October 24 to 26, 1996. There were 36 participants from 15 countries in Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and South America.
